Goldtone stainless steel band and precision quartz movement guarantees a Watch that's reliable as it is attractive.
A little folklore: An interesting pre-Conquest legend tells of a warrior, Popocatepetl, who was in love with the daughter of a tribal king, Iztaccihuatl. When they told the king of their love, he gave the two his blessing only if Popocatepetl beat a rival tribe in battle. Well, ol' Popocatepetl did just that. But before he could return to his love, a rival spread a rumor that he had died in battle (whatta jerk!). The rumor hit Iztaccihuatl hard, and the beautiful bride-to-be died of grief.
When Popocatepetl returned, he set the body of Iztaccihuatl atop a mountain range, which then took the shape of sleeping lady. If you view the Iztaccihuatl from the west, you'll be able to "see" her. And as for Popocatepetl, well, the poor guy... overwhelmed with sadness, he climbed the adjacent peak where - the legend goes - he now stands with a smoking torch, eternally watching over his lost love. That legend explains not only the shape of Iztaccihuatl, but the reason behind Popocatpetl's occasional poofs of smoke. Pretty neat, huh?
