This Pair's long, unique shape is modeled after the same snowshoes used by the Indian nations of western Canada and the northern part of the United States. Typically, they were used for long distance hunting and hiking through forests and open fields.
The long narrow tail is designed to keep the snowshoe in the walking position as needed. Quiet and very stable, the frame is made with white ash and raw hide lacing. A high-quality varnish keeps the raw hide and frame ready for arctic adventure! Bindings sold separately.
